It really depends on the place your riding it, if your riding it where there are many cars traveling you will no doubt get in big trouble, (ie: treated as a normal vehicle, [no insurance, driver license, and so on] 4-wheeler taken away,) but if your riding it on a road around your house, or in a neighbor hood, and a cop happens to see you. you would most likely only get a warning. Although if your driving wrecklessly (ie: speeding, racing) / or if they are called, the punishment will be more severe.
