atv's and dirt bikes?

im going to get a sport atv (honda trx400ex) soon, people say they are more dangerous than a dirt bike and others say the opposite. if you say i quad is more dangerous im not going to change my mind about buying one i just want to know if you guys think im ready, don't worry i because i think im ready just wondering what you think. firstly, i started out on a dirt bike when i was 11, i had a honda xr70, then i stopped riding for a few years after i was 12. then we got an old work atv it was a honda 400cc, had that for a couple of years then upgraded to a bombardier 800cc and we have know had that for a couple of years and about a year ago i got a honda crf150rb up till now and i want a sport atv. i feel 100% confident on the 800cc bike, sure ive come close to a crash but i have never come off, flipped or rolled it. on the dirt bike i don't feel as confident, i can jump and little things like that but i feel so comfortable on a quad which is why i want one. what do you think? im 18
when we first got 800cc, i was sh!t scarred of it but my dad said i'll get used to it and i did because i took it easy. i am an experienced and responsible rider and i know my limits...
