I went mudridin with my 4 wheeler,and the next day it would start,but when i try to go it just wont accelerate

It is a pretty new yamaha grizzly 125, and it has always run fine until i went mud riding. Could it be that water got in the gas tank?

does it die when you try to accelerate or does it just not go... could be the throttle cable loose. if it has water in the tank it would go it would just not run normal..... hard to say what it could be.... a little more detail would be nice
