Maybe not, because to me, the only reason I go golfing is to race around in the cart, and if they replaced it as you suggest, I'd get caught.

where i play in the mtns they do have atv's. and they're fun, as they'll go faster than regular golf carts, but they don't let you drive 'em just anywhereyou want.....fines, etc...
