Anytime you do anything like that, it could be potentially harmful, especially if you took a lot of bumpy roads. The real question here is how far along are you?First off, I would head to your doctor and get information about this.Next, I wouldn't worry too much.

well if you bounced around alot or fell off i'm sure it would hurt the ba**. but otherwise no, i rode my 4 wheeler around the yard when i was 6 or 7 months pregnant with my son once and it didn't hurt a thing. everyone flipped out on me and made me get off though....lol

I definitely wouldn't do it again. Riding it probably won't hurt the ba**, but falling off will. Your balance and motor skills are off when you're pregnant, and since there is already a pretty big risk of falling in an activity like that, you really shouldn't do it while pregnant. It's not recommended to ski, ride horses, climb ladders, etc while pregnant - I think this falls under that same category of activities to avoid.I know you may be nervous about telling your doctor because he/she may judge you, but I'd definitely mention it at your next visit. I'm sure they will tell you what everyone else on here will, which is not to do it again, but they can also tell you exactly what risk there may be to the ba** at this point.

I just went to Mexico and wanted to book a tour on a four wheeler and they would not let me because I am pregnant. I researched it when i got home cause i was mad....and it basically said that you can because of the risk falling off, but if all went well, im sure your okay.

I worked at a resort in southern utah during the first half of my pregnancy and I was about 17 or 18 weeks when I went 4 wheeling. I basically kept my butt lifted partially off the seat when I hit bumps to avoid too much jarring and I didn't go really fast. I enjoyed the ride and didn't have any complications. I have to let you know though, my husband and I drive a jeep and so my body was used to a bumpy ride from the very beginning of the pregnancy. I went to the sand dunes around lake powell as well as up in the mountains and no issues. My rule of thumb for when something was too rough was when I started to feel uncomfortable (anywhere from slight crampy feeling, to nausea, or sharp pains when I hit a bump). Really it is up to your doctor and what feels right.

I am currently about 3 months pregnant. You cannot say whether or not a ba** can be hurt ** the jostling of a 4-wheeler. But I also, not thinking, have been riding our 4-wheeler and my stomach was killing me. I started spotting and immediately went to the doctor. She told me that riding a 4-wheeler on uneven grounds was much like riding a roller coaster, BOTH are most unwanted during pregnancy. Depending on how far you are along, and how you are caring 4-wheeler riding may or may not injure your ba**. But take precautions from now on.
