Default pregnancy and ATV's?

ok heres the deal...i am 19 weeks pregnant, and i am an off road junkie. my husband is going riding with some friends tomorrow and i want to go sooooo bad. i'm still able to go horse back riding if i want to, so do you think that if im careful and dont go real fast that it would be reasonable for me to go on my 4 wheeler tomorrow? be nice.
first off...i am going to be the one driving MY atv, and i'm def not going to be going as fast as my hub** and his buddy. i talked to my doc and she said that as long as im super safe and dont go fast that she doesnt see why not as long as i understand my risks...but theres risks when i drive my car to the store.

Um, no.

I don't think ANY doctor would give you the okay on this one.

Accidents can always happen. Why risk it?

Learn to start sacrificing now. You're carrying a ba**, for gawd's sake. Ultimately, you're going to have to put many of YOUR needs/want on hold - ESPECIALLY during pregnancy.

Dont even think about. I know how you fell I will love to go on my ATV for a ride too. But I wont do it. Not only caue of ther bumpy ride , but because of an injury. If I was u I will wait a little 21 more weeks. Dont think about you, and how bore you will be with out your husband tomorrow. Think about the ba** and that after he is born you will be able to continue with your normal life.

Please don't go!

I would not chance it. I am an experienced rider- I grew up in Alaska on 3 and 4-wheelers- and I would not go riding while pregnant. Any rider who knows what they are doing also knows that accidents can, and sometimes will, happen. I went riding on a little yamaha (a dinky little thing) the day I got my bfp last may and I had a small accident (a complete fluke) and had a m/c. It's not worth it sweetie, I know it ****s having to sit it out though! Maybe you can take some time to pamper yourself instead tomorrow?

Your going to get a lot of conflicting answers on this one! lol. But, it's ultimately up to you, especially if you'll be the one driving it at least. I went on 4 wheelers while pregnant, I just did my own driving and of course didnt go over the same things Dh and his buddies went over, or as fast. I also went horseback riding too. As long as your careful, and KNOW something could always happen (weather your swimming or atv'ing, whatever it is) than it's up to you at this point what you think you can handle or cant. Good luck, and if you decide to HAVE fun I love atv's

Don't.

1) Too many bumps. There's a reason they don't want you riding a horse.

2) Too much chance for an accident. While you're pregnant, curb the off-roading appeal for the sake of your child. One accident could hurt you AND the ba**, especially as you progress.

this is not safe even horse back riding i wouldn't do. it's a lot of pressure on your pelvic region and a lot of unecessary bumping around for the ba**. and not only that what if theres an accident and you fall off, its very dangerous save it for after the ba** is born.
