I have a problem on my 1993 polaris 350 liquid cooled 4x4 atv can you help me please!!?

ok i need to replace my front wheel drive sprocket becuase its a 4x4 and i want a new sprocket on the front that drives the shaft that goes to the wheels so i was wondering how to get the sprocket off so i can put a new on on is there like a diapghram or something becuase i was having trouble getting the driveshaft off so i could get to the sprocket and i dont know if the shaft it rusty or if i have to do something special to get it off please help me.
