baja wilderness 250 atv?

i have a baja wilderness 250 atv i was riding it and it just turned off on me i bought new battery, took out starter tested if froze up, it spun when power applied to it. what could possibly make it shut off out of nowhere.. besides being a '' p.o.s.''
