And where i used to live we could ride them in the road (it was a SMALL town) but my little brothers bike broke down the road (about a mile away) and he wants me to come get him. Is it illagle to ride my 4 wheeler down the side walk to go get him??

The best way to find out about four wheeler laws in Alabama is to contact your nearesy highway patrol office. They can answer your question. I can undertstand your situation,so call them and explain your situation on whether you can pick up your brother with it. Personaly,I think it is great for you to go after your brother on a four wheeler! I hope you get good news about four wheelers. As long as you are a responsible driver and are not doing anything that could cause you to get hurt,i think it should be okay to drive it.

try contacting an official....
i live in PA and i dont know the laws here exept that our four wheeler says u gotta be 16 to drive, im 13 but whatever... we drive our forewheelers and kabota's on the road because there is hardly EVER police unless a crime was commiteed, and that is also hardly ever... but i would use it to go get him, and if you get caught or introuble or whatever just tell the truth say you are new in the state and didnt know what you should do, but you had to go get him. |
