Anyone know a good ATV riding location in So. CA?

I would like to know of a good/nice place where we can go riding ATV's so I can take my kids this weekend. Any place near a lake would be great or a place where some can ride the quads while others sit back (?). I've tried going online but most places ask for a fee to sign up and I can't find the map I got from the place we bought the quad at and other places I've seen are like deserts. Any info would be great! Thanks! I am in LA County but as long as it's no more than about 2 hrs away I'll give it a try.
