ATV price and gas mileage?

i'm looking at buying an ATV. Right now i'm looking at a new kawa. prairie 360 4x4. On kawa site it lists the msrp at 5,199.00 and a dealer near** is asking 5400.00.
What did the dealer pay? Is the msrp the lowest i could expext him to bite on?
And its hard to find info on gas mileage on these things, at least what are you guys averaging? street or off-road, i'd use mine primarily as a daily driver. A coworker said he gets about 40 with his, any help wouuld be appreciated.
