Brake cable question on my 1997 Big Bear 350 2X4 ATV?

I have just put new shoes on the wheeler last night and found that the old ones we not completely gone. I still put the new shoes on and tried it out...still no brakes. I played with the adjustments and still nothing with the hand or foot brake. I am thinking that the cable for the hand and foot brake are gone. I am trying to find both but only seem to find the cable for the hand rear and not the foot rear....is there just one cable?? There are two adjusters ** the rear wheel for the brake so I assumed there were two cables....can anyone help me out??
