Default why is there fuel coming out of the clear hose on my 49cc carburetor, and how do I stop it while ATV is in us?

We just bought an ATV and the fuel is constantly running out of the clear hose that does not connect to anything. This happens as soon as I open the fuel line to start the ATV. Why is this happening and how do I stop it?

Replace the needle valve and check theres no fuel inside the float ,if there is replace the float.A work shop manual will give you the precise setting of the float.

Sounds like the float is sticking. Take the bowl off and check it and also clean the needle valve. You can try tapping the carb to see if it will free up.
