Default why wont my atv start without starting fluid???

ive cleaned the carb and done some other stuff to it. its a 1988 yamaha blaster in godd condition. i dont know what else to do.

Check the reed valves - hold them up to the light to see if they are sealing closed.
Did you clean the pilot jet in the carb? - it's opening is as small as a pin hole and easily clogs with bad gas.
Check the compression - may need a top end rebuild (cylinder, piston & rings)
2 stroke engines require rebuilds quite often.
If you don't remember the last time it was rebuilt - I think it's overdue.
