I am currently looking to buy 2 atv's one for my wife who has never been on one and one for myself who hasnt ridden in like 10 years. Now my wife does not know how to shift a bike and due to the fact that she has never been on one I am uncertain on which size to buy for her. now for myself when i was younger I used to have a 250...I am 6'2" tall and go about 185lbs....should i still look for a 250 which i really liked or should i go for the raptor 660 on maybe a 450.I do not want to look like a mammoth fat guy on a little tiny bike...Also whats your opinion on the "discounted" atv's that are imported from china. they are much cheaper and the wife and I do not intend on "racing" them just something to go out and have a little fun on about 2 weekends a months and really not in the mud although i am not against getting a 4x4 model

You should look at a 250-450, with a 200-300 for her, in an automatic. I got a 2003 Bombardier Rally 200cc 2 wheel drive for my 12th b-day, and it was easy to ride and fun to ride. My dad rides mine (chores mostly) and is about the same weight proportionate to his height (not as tall as you) and he doesn't look like a "mammoth fat guy", so you should be fine. Also, the Chinese get enough of our money, so if possible, get something (not necessarily American) not Chinese. Just my opinion.
