Can I switch my brakes on my ATV from left handlebar to the right?

I already asked this ? but I think I put it in the wrong category. I have an Artic Cat 4-wheeler and the brake is on the wrong side. I really need it on the right and I think it can be switched but my husband doesn't. Has anyone done this or have any pointers? Please don't tell me I'll get used to it because that's not what I want to know.
