I purchased an older atv on ebay and got no title with it. Is there any way to get a new one?

The guy i bought it from did not know who the last registered owner of it was. Is there anyway to run the vin number and find out? I did get a bill of sale with it so is that enough to get a new title in my name?

How do you know you didn't buy a stolen vehicle? Never, ever buy a vehicle without a title.

you bought it anyway. did the thought that it might be stolen ever enter your mind? a bill of sale is only gonna prove that you bought it. you need to make sure that you don't go to jail for possession of stolen property .go to your tag office and have them run the VIN
