i broke the key off in my new four wheeler, how can i fix it with out spending alot of money?

ok, so i went to shut of the four wheeler and the key broke off in the ignition, is there anyway i can fix it cheap, do i need a new ignition, or can i get the broken key out and bring out and bring it to a store and have another one made up? i want to spend the least amount money i can, i dont have much money. please help.

take the ignition out - if there is a # stamped on the ignition switch - take that # to a dealer & they should be able to make a key or order one for you - most of the replacement keys start out at $12.00 - or...just put a toggle switch on it & forget about the key...
