Holy sh*t, what happend to my 4 wheeler and trailor?

i had the day off from school today, so i dug up some grass for the garden my mom and dad are having next year. i put it on the trailor of my four wheeler, and there wasn't that much in there. i usually have more if i'm piling wood. i was taking it up in the bush to dump it off. and it had trouble going up there. then i dumped all the soil and grass off, and i was going on a straight strech not even that fast, and the back slide thing on the back of the trailor whipped of and smashed into the ground and the trailor bounced up and made a huge noise and i looked back and it was on its side and bouncing up and down and i hit the brakes and it almost smashed into me... i got off and the bolt that was holding it to the four wheeler had a complete curve in it. how did this happend? i wasn't even going that fast... there was a big dent in the ground too. maybe it hit a stump? thanks... its a polaris.
