How can I obtain a title for my motorcycle?

I purchased the bike, financed it, and several years later filed for bankruptcy. The bike was abandoned ** the bankruptcy court and the loan was written off ** the finance company. How do I get a title so I can get a tag and ride it or perhaps sell it?

I can tell yo how to do it in the state where i live but that may not help you.
Talk to your DMV, they deal with that type of thing every day, they can help you.

You will need to get a lein release letter from the company that originally held it. They may or may not cooperate.
