having problems with my 2004 rm85 ?

i have just bought a new cylinder head with a new sleveig because i was told i had piston slap which was making a crunching noise when i was getting to the end of the gears. i also bought a new piston and gasket set with a new spark plug so it will be all done at once. i have just un the bike in and when i get to the end of the gears it stillmakes the same crunching noise. has anybody got any idea wat could be causeing that crunching noise? thx
