Default SIDI boots?

Hi all,
I have recently purchased a set of new sidi vertigo corsa's and they squeek like mad anyone know how to stop this without the leather been damaged...

WD40!!! LOL...sorry I couldn't resist. What about about some dubbin and warming it til goes runny then spreading it round the squeaky bits?
A bit like the idea behind putting chain wax on just after a ride so the heat of the chain melts the wax.

Chris M is actaully correct even though he think's he's made a joke!!!!! So well done Chris, WD40 does work.


I have a pair of Sidi boots I hate 'em and won't buy another pair. Very uncomfortable.

Is it the soles that squeak?? Try a liberal coating of Neatsfoot oil all over the boots, this will waterproof and preserve the leather, put plenty around the edges of the soles, this is probably where the squeak is coming from, as the layers move when flexing the sole.
