Default im planing to buy my first motorcycle,A sportbike, i dunno if getting a 750cc is to much for me?

I drive a stick car, i have dirtbikes, so i know how to ride, but a sportbike is a much bigger step, i think a 750 is the right speed for me now, until i get better at it. like i said before, will getting a bike like that be too much for me? will i have clutch problems, will i launch my bike right underneath me? or will it be fine to get a 1000cc or more? let me know what a good started bike is? but i learn fast, i know the concept of using a clutch, im so new to riding. Thanks for your opinion!!!

"750 is the right speed for me now" - based on what? A newbie sportbiker should NOT start out on a 750cc ride.

"will it be fine to get a 1000cc or more?" - No. Bad idea. If you do, please make sure your parents have a GREAT insurance policy on you.

"good starter bike" - Ninja 250. Take the MSF class first to find out if you really want to ride streetbikes, then worry about what bike you should get.

"I learn fast" - That's nice. It has nothing to do with your self-assessment. This question ("What should I get as a new sportbike rider?") should be its own category. Go back into the "Motorcycles" category and count how many times a different variation of the question is asked. Under each one, the majority of the answers from experienced folks all say the same thing: "Start small, take the class, wear all the equipment you can handle, and RESPECT THE BIKE".

I find it interesting that you claim that you know how to ride "i have dirtbikes, so i know how to ride" yet you do not know if you will have clutch problems, will you launch your bike or would it be fine to start with a 1000cc bike.

I have always said and I am sure that my fellow experienced riders will agree, that if you have to come here and ask what size bike is good for what you are really telling us is that you have no experience with bikes. I have come to the conclusion that you should not start with anything larger than a 250.

Good Luck
