Default Vulcan 500 break in?

I am picking up a Vulcan 500 tomorrow and will be riding it a short 12 miles home. I don't have to hop on to the high way or anything, so my question is, what is the break in period suggest? My current Ninja 250 advised not taking the bike over certain RPM's for the first certain miles and I'm wondering if the Vulcan is the same way. This way I don't run it crazy on the way home.

Thanks.

ASK your dealer! They will know!

Usually new stuff and especially quality made Japanese stuff does not have a "break-in" period anymore. That is a thing of the past when engine were built to much less tolerance that they are today!

When was the last time you bought anything new??LOL
