Yamaha Scooter Vino 125CC?

Would it be safe to ride this scooter on a state highway, not an interstate (I don't have a death wish). I see bicyclist riding all the time. Is it really safe to get it up to 50 mph with thoses small tires, it doesn't seem like that would be too stable. Just wondering...
