Default Does a motorcycle clutch slip when really hot?

I have a 07 suzuki sv650 with 1400 miles on it. I was trying to do a burnout in first gear at about 8000 rpms, slowly engaging the clutch. After a few minutes, when trying to ride normally, the clutch wont engage completely and slips horribly. Have i ruined my clutch or does it need to cool down?

chances are you didn't do the clutch any good..
it maybe ok. future reference slipping the clutch is
not good... infact drag racers only use a clutch to
start and stop....
