I have been coming here reading questions and answers for a few months now. It is entertaining and that is for sure. Almost half of the questions aren't about motorcycles in the sense of learning something, but are about how FAST a certain bike is. How much POWER one has and how to do a WHEELIE on one. Are these people for real? Do they have any idea HOW to ride or are they just in here trying to look cool? The speed of the bike should be a secondary factor. It can be the fastest bike on two wheels but if you can't control it you are gonna bust your A$$! MPG? I think that is logical although almost any bike should get better than 40. Proper gear and size? That is probably the least asked question and the MOST needed answer. Why do certain ones pick on Harley riders and certain Harley riders pick on Jap bikes? We all ride for a reason. I do it because I enjoy it and I see things I never saw in a car. I also get to meet new people because they just want to be close to the bike.

tell you what?
I wish ***** Answers was around when I spent $10K of my hard earned money on a POS Bike that I didn't know it was a POS before I purchased it! The last bike I bought was a Suzuki M50 and this bike has been a nightmare ever since I owned it, I wish I had the information of owners of the same bike telling me what a POS it is. What is going on here is people that already made the mistake of buying a junk and troublesome bike is giving valuable information so the new people don't make the same mistake of buying the same bike. I am sharing my past experiences and the mistakes I made to help everybody If they don't listen to me, there is nothing I can do, all I know I did the best I can and I feel good about it, knowing in the future after someone purchased the bike I condemned they will look back and find out I was right. Take the HD's for an example, every HD Owner I know has problems with their HD and they all go broke paying to fix it and they are stuck with a $450 a month payment for 60 months, so they have no choice to spend $5K to have the engine rebuilt. |
