You start ** doing the safety course, to get on/off a military bases, you need special stuff.
Start small, 250 is a good class in your medium sized or better. If you only putting around town, even a 125 might be good enough. Get a simple standard style, and work up to what you like. |

Its just like Biker for Life said, go to your local dealerships and sit on as many as you can. Try to narrow your search to a few models before talking to a salesman. Despite their best efforts to "help" they are there to sell you a bike.
Most important is the ability to reach the ground with both feet and to be able to sit/ride comfortably. As far as which is the "best" goes, that is up to you. It has to fit your vision of the perfect bike at the right price. Good Luck in your search! |
