Scooter Problems My Scooter Just Makes A Noise?

When I Try To Start my scooter all it does is buzz like its zappin you can hear it from the starter cylanoids its like zzzzzzzzzzzz thats what it does and it wont start any more what could be the problem??? and i dotn have a lot of money so wats the best way to fix it besides a cooter shop

most auto parts stores will check the battery for you for nothin,, starter/battery cables might be loose, solenoid might be bad, starter might be shorted. find the starter solenoid and **pass it with a screwdriver or something conductive and heavy and see if the starter turns, also you can hook the battery, paying attention to the pos and neg orientation, to the starter and see if that turns it. make sure "cooter" is in neutral first.
