Why does my scooter stop/stutter accelarating at half throttle? it started when i got caught in the rain.

First of all I have a Roketa Jamaica 150cc scooter, and every time I start trying to accelerate and I’m at about half throttle (35mph) it either starts stuttering or just stops accelerating all together, anyone have any idea what could be happening?

your high speed jet is clogged or your choke is stuck closed. make sure (Grin) a bird hasnt nested in your intake.

Their is a slight chance also that you have a elect problem, cracked coil , spark plugs or wires, but id bet its the carb jet.

Could be water in the gas or air box.
Open the air box and look - if any water, clean with a paper towel and dry the air cleaner with a hair drier.
Then drain the carburetor float bowl.
