I co-signed for a motorcycle for my brother..?

I co-signed for a motorcycle for my brother in the amount of $10K b/c he did not have enough credit history to buy it. Now I find out that collections agency is calling my house and cell every day. When I called the account #, I found out that my brother has not been paying the motorcycle bills for 7 months. I've been trying to reach my brother to find out what's going on and he is not picking up his cell and disconnected his v-mail. Now, the collection agency is threatening me that they will take out wages from my pay checks. I have excellend credit history, I'm married and own two cars and a house. I don't want to jeopardize my family and my credit. Please help me! Should I sue my brother? What to do???
