I like the crotch rockets but like living a bit more. I know that buying used is the good place to go but am unfamiliar with bikes other than knowing that 250cc is the lowest and over 600 is better suited for more experienced riders.

1. It's called a sportbike. You may get some weird looks from the sportbike community if you say that in public. It's more a a derogatory term made ** jealous cruiser riders.
2. A 600(inline) is a nice cute little puppy dog, if given respect. They have great manners around town and make low power if you keep the RPMs under 6000, generally speaking. When you crack that thing open it will take off right from about 8000RPM-15,000RPM. Like I said, if you give it respect and ride like a normal human being then you won't have any problems. Wear the gear, take a MSF course, and respect the bike. A good indicator of how well you are going to be as a motorcyclist is how well you are at driving a four wheeled normal vehicle. If you have 2 or more accidents or violations then I would stray from riding for a while until you smarten up, simply put. |
