Default Motorcycle riding school in OC area?

ive been planning on buying a bike, and been looking around for a place where they can teach me the basics of how to ride a motorcycle (not the MSF course, i already booked them and its about 2 months wait and its a while)

i found a place in oceanside that seems pretty decent, but its about an hours drive, more with traffic because i live on the northern portion of anaheim

so does anyone know any schools that can teach me the basics of motorcycle riding?

also, ive been riding a 80cc scooter around, and im pretty balanced on it, so if i dont find a class, do you guys think it would be possible to jump up to a 600cc motorcycle?
of course im not going to jump the gun and twist the throttle wide open, but like would it be okay if i just got on a 600cc and took it slow, or do you think it'd still be safer not to

Once you have learned to balance a bike, it is not a great task to balance a heavy bike.
To learn more about driving, contact your nearer driving school
