Whats that part called on the motorcycle it goes over the round chrome part?

it goes over the round chrome part just under the air filter, some have an eagle on it while other have the make of the bike i found it last night but today i can't remember it to save my life,,any one know they are usally either in sticker form or screw on

Ok, If it goes under the air filter it would be a rubber gasket or part of the air filter assembly. But if it goes on top of the air filter and is chrome and had a eagle on it it would be the air filter cover.
