yamaha yfz 450 2005/?

ok i was looking at a couple of used 2005 yamaha yfz 450 and i was wondering was 2005 a good year for the yfz450 i heard they had a couple of bad years an wat kind of maintenance do u have to do to the ???? like changing oil or is it like any other atv??
