Default How much can a Hyosung GV250 Aquila be lowered, and ** what means?

I am a petite female... about 5'1" tall. I used to have a Suzuki Savage 650 but have been away from bikes for the last 5-6 years. To get back into it, I was looking at a Hyosung Gv250 Aquila, love the looks of it and its very light. It has the same seat height as the Savage I used to have. Problem is, it's a tad wider (wider gas tank, wider seat etc) - I was not flat footed on the Savage (but almost) and with this bike I am really tip toed because of the extra width.

The dealer seems confident we can get an inch or two lower ** adjusting the shocks. If that doesn't do it, I am wondering if it's also possible to lower the front end (** the forks) as well? And does anyone know if there are actual lowering links to fit this bike? I know I can also shave the seat down a bit to gain a little more... I really feel 2" would do it perfectly. What are my best options and can it be done with this bike?
