Default doing a wheelie?????

i have a 1997 yzf 1000r. i want to be able to do wheelies befor winter.. i understand the concept of powering it up and droping thu cluch but could some one give me specifics as in what gear, what rpms will bring it up, speed etc ... im still alittle fearfull but ill work on that. thanks

bikes are not designed to be ridden on the back wheel..

so if your front wheel goes skyward when you take off from the stop sign its not a huge problem....

HOWEVER.. if your doing it a lot or riding on the back wheel for a greater distance then the oil that normally lubricates the crank is all at the back of the engine (its normally at the bottom of the engine).. engine failure... big $ to fix..

But you go right ahead & do them wheelies....

natural selection is a great tool..(they weed themselves out of the gene pool)
