bikes are not designed to be ridden on the back wheel..
so if your front wheel goes skyward when you take off from the stop sign its not a huge problem.... HOWEVER.. if your doing it a lot or riding on the back wheel for a greater distance then the oil that normally lubricates the crank is all at the back of the engine (its normally at the bottom of the engine).. engine failure... big $ to fix.. But you go right ahead & do them wheelies.... natural selection is a great tool..(they weed themselves out of the gene pool) |
