1996 Sea doo Jet ski's.... should I buy and

what kinda problems? I want to buy 2 jet skis for my family. There is a car lot that has 2 1996 Seadoo GTX 3 seater jetski's with trailer for $6000. They both have less than 100 hours. Are these good jetski's? What tears up the most on them? They look to be in really good shape and each have covers, but what do I need to do to check them out to make sure they are not "repaired junk"? We are purchasing on a budjet. They seemed like a good deal, but I dont know how to tell what they are worth. Thanks in advance for all and any help!!!!

If they are that old with less than 100 hours, Why? These are 2 stroke engines that will burn a lot of expensive oil, make a lot of noise, and the ride will be rougher.There are SeeDoo dealers all over, have one check them out. They will charge about $125.00 per unit if in Atlanta.If you want to take a chance, let the people take you to a local lake. If they don't want to you leave a car in their drive or something of value to you just to use the jetskis for a couple of hours. If you do this draw out a contract showing your trustworthiness to repair any damage you may cause. You can also have these folks allow you or have them take to a dealer to check out with the understanding of who is going to pay for this. If they really want to sell they may include in the package.Trailers for Jetskis are almost giveaways at dealers. Dealers will sell at their cost just to move the Jetskis.
