...for the firts time this Summer to Jetski any tips ? See my parents were always to scared to allow me to get on a jetski, but this year they finaly decided to let me have some fun. I am happy and nervous at the same time, but I need to learn how to ride one and know how much they cost to rent and also I need to know which beaches rent them out to people. Also does anybody know anyting I can tell my mom other than I will have a life jacket on. This is because my mother is scared to death about this and is about to take back her words. Please reply I need help.

Hi, I'm dominican also (and in the Dom Rep). I went to Boca Chica last summer and got on a jet ski. I had never done that before for the same reason (my mom is paranoid, I think it's a dominican thing). I don't know what it cost my cousin, but he had it for less than an hour. It was very exciting. Getting to the point, I don't think they will let you drive it if you never have before, it could be dangerous. The guy drives it for you. I've heard in Juan Dolio you can rent them for as long as you're staying, but I am sure that once you get here they will give you an insight. Good luck and have a nice time.Dominicans in tha house!!
