Default jet ski question?

So i have just spent the past 9 months rebuilding my jet ski engine(9 months bc i go away to school and worked on it during my breaks)

and tomorrow is the day i hook up the battery and start her up for the first time. and i cant sit still. Any recommendations for the first start up? I oiled the crap out of the engine so i know there will be plenty of lubrication for the inital start up.

Should i use a hotter spark plug? It came with NGK BR9ES spark plug. Should i move up to a NGK BR11ES???

Use the BR9ES spark plug. If it's a 2 stroke pre-mix a little extra oil in the first tank of gas - go with a 40 to 1 ratio. Vary your speed for the first hour or two and don't hold it wide open for more than 15 or 20 seconds.
