Tips for riding a Jet Ski?

I just drove a jet ski for the first time last Sunday. I got the hang of it and was able to fly across the water but I have trouble turning. I think I am going to flip or something.
I would like some general tips of driving jet skis so next time I go I will be able to do even better.
