Default Seadoo smoking?

I noticed on my 1996 GXS(?) Seadoo that when I take off there is oil smoke coming out from behind it.

It also bogs down after awhile of running it at around 6000 RPM, it will go down to about 3000 RPM or so and then go back up to 6000 if you don't adjust the throttle position during that time. I think that is because the carb is gunked up, but not sure why it's smoking.

Any suggestions on fixing it? Could it just be a gasket?

mine has started smoking before, and the reason why was that there was a ton of like algae and seaweed ****ed up in it ... im sure there could be other reasons too though, but i'd at least check out the thing that ****s in the water and the seaweed (i think its called the intake? ... not sure though!)
