How old do you have to be to drive a Jetski in Hawaii? Also does it require a license?

I am from California and have heard that different statest have different laws on pwc as low as 14 years old. I will be going to Honolulu next week and need to know the age to ride a Jetski.

jetskiiing is a major part of hawaii tourist activities, and i've seen kids of all ages do it here. so just check with a company who is providing the service. it's their responsibility to know these sort of things.
