If you are an ethnic non-white, I am sure you know what I am talking about. To be the "in crowd" at these firms, you must act white. That is to say, be like them. Do not stand out. Be plastic and fake and you will survive. Image is everything, and leave your ethical behavior at the door, do not be real. You will need to drive a BMW, where abercrombie and fitch, where preppy clothes with the collar sticking up, do not mingle with non-whites, espouse your non-discriminating hiring policy based on race, even though it is just lip service, and never believe that white bi tch recruiter smiling at your face, she is as white as they come.

As a white person I find your comment about
"white bi tch " & "you must act white. That is to say, be like them" To be somewhat offensive and racist. In to days society people seem to forget that a white person can also be the victim of racial harassment and abuse. Each person deserves to be judged on their own merits and abilities and I for one am sick of skin color being an excuse to undermine and ridicule. We are all the same on the inside. Hair colour, Eye colour, Skin Colour, Shoe size is all irrelevant. It is very ignorant of you to assume that all white people "drive a BMW, where abercrombie and fitch, where preppy clothes with the collar sticking up, do not mingle with non-whites" I work for a bank that has global success and my colleagues span diverse cultures, religions and origins. I have made many friends during my years with this company and have seen many co workers progress into well deserved promotions. It is up to each individual to decide if they freel they have been discriminated against because of their ability, race, gender or sexuality and to take action accordingly. It is attitudes like yours that start Wars and prevent the human race from living together in harmony, |
