It probably depends what state you live in. And the lake might have rules too. In California, you have to be 16 and have a drivers license. It is also recommended that you take a boater safety class too.No matter how old you are ALWAYS be safe, please. Driving these can be deadly!

in ny you have to be 16 and hold a boating licence regardless of your age
