Ok well I am wakeboarding behind a 2007 fx cruiser yamaha waverunner. I can wakeboard pretty well.I am going about 37 when wakeboarding but when i look at how fast i should and i go that fast it kinda feels wierd with alot of pull on my arms. So for my Q is it affecting my jumping ability

Depending on your weight, you should be pulled anywhere from 18-24 mph. 37mph is way too fast to get a proper cut and the pop you want. If you were to go slower it would also create a larger (give you more pop) wake which would help your jump. So yes, your jump is being affected ** your speed.
p.s. Find a boat to give you a pull |

37 for wakeboarding? dude that aint right. go down to about 22. if you feel like you have too much drag then just get used to it. its not like the waverunner has any wake any way. at 37 you might as well sit on the dock drinkin a cold one.
