Why wont my jet ski wont go more tham 25 mph?

I was riding it and it was fine. But i turned off on me and wen i turned it back on it wouldnt go more than 25 mph. it a polaris sl 750. year 1995

Try using a bigger sail.

clogged fuel line, plugged pump or suction ports in the water lines, check for foreign objects in all of the above and repair as necessary
