Please read details. Jet Ski versus Boat...pros & cons?

I am 17. I have enough money for an older boat, or a newer jet ski.

I don't have any friends to have to bring along (LOL...it's true and I'm happiest being anti social).

So I was leaning towards Jet Ski. But I was wondering if I missed a major con somewhere seeing as theyre so much cheaper than a boat.

I live on a lakefront house in TX.

Boats are great if you have few people, or you want to go fishing, etc.

But otherwise Jet ski is much more fun (but much more dangerous).

They are cheaper because they are smaller and less useful.

Jet skis are mostly annoying.

You can boat year-round. And at night.

If it's lake Lewisville, you'll want to stay off the lake most of the summer anyway (unless you also have a death wish).

There is a guy on Lake Ray Hubbard fishes from a jetski sometimes.
