Jetski wont turn over!!

Just bought an 89 Kawasaki TS 650.

I was told it ran fine last summer and thats all I know. When going to start her, all I get is one single click. As in she tries to turn over but shes locked up and cant make a revolution. The battery is fully charged and I even used a large marine battery that I know has some major cranking amps.

This is my first jetski. Normally in a car if this happens its because the battery terminals are loose or I need to smack the starter a couple times. (I'll double check both on the ski tomorrow)

Anyways, aside from any basic issues. What should I do?? Is this possibly a somewhat common issue for jetskis?

I'm going to continue to do some research but any help would be GREATLY appreciated!
